My writing in class is improving. My skills at getting my ideas out there are developing,
I’m starting to understand what I have to write about and how to argue or get
my point across in a paper. One thing I’ve
always lacked was starting a piece of writing.
I don’t have essays with strong openers.
My intros aren’t really engaging. Also I need a great amount of work on
is organization. In my writing and research
I’m everywhere because I come up with so many ideas that it becomes scattered
in my brain, I must learn to be organized.
Being unorganized makes my brain hurt. Creating the outlines before my
research paper is helpful and its’ helped me get started on my paper. In my writing I’m getting better in
elaborating my thoughts but I think I’m still a long way from being perfect. Also in my research paper, when I’m choosing
my topic I feel that it’s harder to find information on narrowed down topics
than broader ones. I think the handout you gave out, Useful Templates, is going
to develop the way I write and organize my research.
